1973 FORD FALCON XA GT - $195,999

The XA series was introduced in 1972 as the replacement to the XY, the beginning of the
third generation Falcon model lineup. The XA was larger than it’s predecessor and received
the classic ‘coke bottle’ styling, which was all the rage at the time. Significant handling and
comfort upgrades were also introduced.

This particular example is a stunning genuine 1973 Ford Falcon XA GT sedan finished in the
tags matching ‘polar white’. As with the iconic XA shape, the styling is reserved yet still makes
a statement against similar cars of its time. GT specific features such as the lower front
splitter, ‘GT Grille’, satin black highlights, bonnet pins, hood vents and 12-slot wheels help to

give this XA GT a bold street presence and set it apart from the rest. Black venetian blinds
fitted to the rear windscreen are a subtle detail that completes the look of this XA GT.

The white vinyl & black cloth insert trim presents very well throughout the interior, highlighting
the wood grain features to the centre console and GT steering wheel. As this XA now runs a
4-speed manual transmission, a toploader shift knob has been installed as a period correct
detail. Details such as the ‘Ford’ stainless kick plates and dash instrumentation present
excellently.

This genuine ‘T’ code XA GT runs a strong 351 CID 4V engine mated to a 4-speed manual
toploader transmission. The healthy 351 provides not only a great soundtrack, but plenty of
go!

The current owner has kept extensive written records and invoices for work undertaking to
this XA, of which can be viewed by potential buyers upon request.

Take charge of this opportunity to secure a fantastic XA GT example with the looks and grunt
to match! Enquire today as it will not last long!
