This tough 34’ Ford Coupe hotrod is in a league of it’s own, with extensive work undertaken, an impressive parts list and attention to detail that has to be seen in person. This particular example is a highly modified 1934 Ford Coupe Hotrod now wearing a stunning custom coat of silver paint, which the owner describes as being based on a type of silver offered by Lamborghini on their cars. A ‘Deuce-Customs’ body was utilised for the build of this amazing vehicle, with paintwork undertaken by Auto Transformers. This 34’ Coupe runs a set of impressive ‘Foose Injector’ wheels, with a 17x6 front-runner and a 20x10 rear. The front grille is an original american steel item, which has been trimmed and chromed to become the proud centrepiece of the 34’. The second-generation Firebird was introduced in 1970 with an 11-year production run. Utilising the GM F-Body platform, Firebird, Firebird Esprit, Firebird Formula and Firebird Trans AM were offered. The top of the range ‘Trans Am’ featured notable body flares, Ram Air shaker and front guard ventilation. The Ram Air utilised a 400ci V8.
This particular example is a 1970 Pontiac Trans Am Ram Air III and is said to be quite rare. The current owner has explained that only 3,108 Ram Air Trans Am’s were built, with just 1769 four speed examples manufactured that year. The exterior presents well, finished in ‘Polar White’ (Code 10) with contrasting blue Trans Am insignia. It wears a set of neat 15inch x 7 Ralley wheels complimented with Yokohama Radial rubber.
