The ‘VK’ series was introduced in 1984, following the success of the VB, VC and VH Commodores. VK was offered in a range of specification levels including the base Executive, Berlina and top-of-the-range Calais. Engine options included the humble 3.3L straight-six engine as well as the popular 5L V8. Special VK models were introduced via HDT including the SS Group 3, SS Group A and Calais Director.
This particular example started life as a VK Commodore, but has now been transformed into a SS Group 3 replica.
