1969 HOLDEN HT PREMIER - $119999
The ‘HT’ Holden was introduced in 1969, replacing the popular ‘HK’. The HT received a series of changes including a new grille, tail lights, wider rear window, revised suspension and instrument cluster. HT was offered in sedan, coupe, wagon, ute and panel van body styles with engine options ranging from the humble ‘161’ inline-six to the 350ci Chevrolet V8. Kingswood proved popular while the Monaro GTS 350 Coupe was the ‘cream of the crop’.
This particular example started life as a humble HT Premier but has now been transformed into the outstanding masterpiece presented above. At the time of the build process, it received a full bare metal restoration finished in a stunning metallic silver. The elegant colour selection accentuates the classic HT styling cues and compliments the chrome and stainless highlights. This HT Premier sits on a set of Centreline Convo Pro rims, running a 175/80 R15 front tyre and a 295/50R15 rear tyre within tubs.
The interior trim contrasts the exterior beautifully with supple black vinyl seating, black dash pad and carpet. A GTS style steering wheel is a nice addition as well as a B&M shifter and autometer temperature, oil pressure and tachometer gauges.
