1986 FERRARI MONDIAL 3.2 - $139999

The Mondial was introduced in 1980 as a mid-engine V8, Gran Tourer 2+2 coupe designed
by Pininfarina and bodywork completed by Carrozzeria Scaglietti. The Mondial replaced the
308 and 208 GT4 coupes and still remains as the last rear engine V8 2+2 coupe. Mondial 3.2
production ran from 1985 to 1988, receiving a styling refresh, new alloy wheels and significant
interior updates. The Mondial 3.2 was also available in a Cabriolet body style.

This particular example is an Australian Delivered 1986 Mondial 3.2, manufactured in Ferrari’s
Maranello Factory, and finished in Glasurit’s ‘Blu Sera’ metallic paint. This colour is
particularly rare and was made popular during the 60s/70s. The exterior is per original
specification. The original 5-spoke star alloys and Ferrari badging present beautifully and has
recently had the lower front lip replaced. This example is 1 of 99 Factory built RHD vehicle for 1986, as well as being a 1 of 9 'Blu Sera' car.

The interior features Ferrari’s iconic 80’s styling, with cream leather with black leather top half
across the dash and door trims. The three spoke Momo steering wheel is retained as well as
the ‘8-ball’ style gear knob and exposed shifter gate. Air conditioning, power windows, climate control and an AUX/USB stereo feature in this Mondial. This example shows 159,147 kilometres, with the interior presenting very well for it’s age.

The Mondial 3.2 featured the 3.2 litre, 4 valve V8. This engine was bored and stroked over
the previous 3.0 litre V8s found in earlier Mondials. The power output was rated to
266 horsepower. The Traverse, rear-mounted engine is mated to a 5-speed manual
transmission, giving the driver complete control and a complete Ferrari experience.

With a significant increase in classic Ferrari prices worldwide, this Mondial presents great
value with the benefit of a Manual, rear mounted V8 experience. Take this opportunity to
secure your piece of 1980’s Ferrari history.
