1980 HOLDEN WB UTE- $99999

The WB series marked the end of Holden’s iconic ‘H-Series’ cars, where by the Commodore
was introduced as the mid-full size sedan offering for Holden. The WB was offered in
commercial body styles such as ute, panel van and one tonner variants. The ‘Statesman’ was
offered, but marketed without ‘Holden’ branding. 3.3L straight six and 4.2L V8 engines were
offered, with the 5L 308 V8 available in Statesman.

This particular example is a tough WB ute that has received a considerable amount of work
since leaving the factory in 1980. The body has received a colour change into the striking,
bright green that seriously pops in the sun. A Premier style quad light front nose cone has
been utilised as well as a GTS style grille and GTS style quarters. A subtle reverse cowl adds
to the tough character of this WB ute. To top it off, a set of Weld Draglites appear at each

The black trim presents very well, with colour matched green piping to the seats. A GTS style
dash and steering wheel add to the exterior GTS style features, while a B&M Pro Ratchet
shifter and Autometer gauges create a tough pro street presence.

This WB Ute now runs a stout 434ci SBC V8 that has been worked into a tough streeter.
Some of the work includes:

  • T&D custom rockers

  • MLS head gaskets

  • NGK spark plugs
