1971 FORD XY FAIRMONT WAGON - $59999

The XY Falcon was introduced in October of 1970 replacing the popular XW. The XY featured
a facelift over the XW, with a redesigned set of rear taillights and front grille. The XY series is
most noted for its GTHO models, and are considered a legend within the Bathurst realm.
This particular matching numbers example is an XY Fairmont Wagon, leaving the production
line in 1971. Externally, this Fairmont is finished in Ultra White, a subtle yet popular colour
amongst XYs. Presenting as per original condition, many of the factory features are still
retained including hubcaps, badges and bumper overrides.

Contrasting the Ultra White exterior, burgundy trim fills the interior as well as wood grain and
stainless highlights. Similarly to the exterior, the interior presents as per original with the
addition of an aftermarket Kenwood radio. A rear power tailgate window is also evident and
controlled by the driver.

This Fairmont also features a factory 302ci V8 Windsor motor with 3-Speed automatic
transmission, perfectly suited to the style of driving that this Wagon will provide.

While XY Sedans a plentiful, XY Wagons offer a unique cruising experience with the flexibility
of packing up the rear cargo area and taking the family for a weekend drive. Equally as
beautiful it is to drive and look at, make this XY Wagon yours today.
