1968 HOLDEN HK PREMIER - $119999 


The HK Holden series received great success during its short production run in 1968. The HK
series featured a broad model selection, from the modest Belmont, all the way to the Bathurst
specialist, the Monaro GTS 327. HK Holden’s remain a staple amongst enthusiasts and
collectors to this day. 

This particular example is a HK Premier, leaving Holden’s Dandenong manufacturing facility
in 1968. This Premier is a factory White over Silver Mink car and has since been repainted in
its tag matching colours in 2013. To match the immaculately presented paintwork, new
chrome bumpers were installed and present beautifully. As well as lowered suspension, a set
of Center Line Autodrags are fitted, with 8.5” deep dish rears running a 255/60/15 tyre. To
complete the look, all original stainless detailing and moulds are present. 

The interior presents just as well as the exterior, while also complimenting the original paint
scheme. All interior stainless, chrome and wood grain highlights present just as well and help
to compliment the sedate trim colour. While original equipment such as the stainless belt
buckles, AM radio and Premier steering wheel are present. The interior is completed with
some pro street flavour featuring a B&M ratchet shifter, autometer tachometer, line locker, low mounted water + oil gauges & switches for ignition, water + oil pump & fans. During this Premier’s build, new door cards, new front split bench seat, new carpet and re-chroming + paint to the dash were completed. 

Keeping true to the Pro Street nature of this HK, it now runs a stout stroker 383ci Small Block,
hooked up to a Powerglide Transmission and delivering power to a 9 inch differential. See
