1965 FORD FALCON XP DELIVERY- $64,999
The Falcon XP was introduced in 1965 with a short production run until 1966. It was the last
model of the first generation Falcons whereby the XR was Introduced. Subtle styling cues
externally distinguish the XP from the predecessor XM Falcon, but the significant change was
centred around a stronger steel sub frame, increasing structural rigidity.
This particular example is a 1965 Ford Falcon XP Delivery finished in a coat of stunning gloss
black paint. The body presents exceptionally with chrome and stainless highlights contrasting
beautifully against the rich black exterior. While subtle in it’s styling, elements such as the
metal sun visor and rear manual window winder give a true period correct look to this XP
Delivery. The original steel wheels have been replaced with a set of XY style 5-slot wheels
and hubcaps.
The interior presents just as well with black vinyl trim and contrasting silver dash and inner
door skins. This XP benefits from new trim including new bucket seats and fully carpeted rear
cabin. Modifications within the interior include the addition of a B&M Quicksilver shifter and an
XM Futura centre console.
This XP Delivery now houses a 302ci Ford Windsor V8 mated to a C4 automatic transmission
with a stage 2 shift kit. A set of disc brakes at all four corners have been installed, including
ventilated front and Mustang rear discs. A set of twin thermo fans keep the Windsor
cool while power steering provides for effortless cruising abilities.
Rarely do you see an XP Delivery in this shape, let alone this beautiful. Be sure to secure this
fantastic example today!
